What would you consider a Holy Ghost service? My answer would be the one we had at Open Door this Sunday. It wasn’t planned. It wasn’t something we practiced for. There are just those special times where the Holy Ghost shows up and blesses you with his presence. Perhaps it is the willing hearts ready to praise Him, or perhaps it is those who come hungry for more of His presence, or both. Praise flowed to worship which flowed to prophecy which flowed to prayer which flowed to greater worship which flowed to laughter and tears and back to prayer which led to more worship. Jesus described it this way in Matthew 3:8. “The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
For me, being filled with the Holy Spirit and knowing Jesus Christ as Savior is the greatest privilege I will ever receive. If you don’t yet know Him, He is waiting for you. “Look! I (Jesus) stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. (Revelation 3:20 NLT)
“For here is the way God loved the world—he gave his only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life.” (John 3:16 TPT)
“This is how we know that we live in Him and He in us: He has given us of his Spirit.” (1 John 4:13 NIV)
